Problem with Drivers v7.41 and Windows 10 32 bit
Re : Problem with Drivers v7.41 and Windows 10 32 bit
Re : Problem with Drivers v7.41 and Windows 10 32 bit
this is a known issue: current runtime v7.41 does not install hlvdd.dll on Win10 x86 platform, while it works fine on Win10 x64.
The fix is going to be addressed in the upcoming runtime package included in major release Sentinel LDK 7.5 (expected around August this year - dates to be committed).
Please keep monitored our Sentinel LDK download section at pages:

or contact us in next months.
thanks

Re : Problem with Drivers v7.41 and Windows 10 32 bit
Dear Ilaria
Thanks for your answer
Through our Argentina´s Vendor, we have also entered in contact with the Sentinel-Hasp Support team, but until now they neither could give us an answer or solution
At the moment we have about 2000 customers that use our tool protected with Hardlock key
As our software is a control tool that has to do with the people's safety area , for most of our customers, this tool is critical for its business
Due to the Microsoft policies, for upgrading Windows 10 in an automatic way, without requesting the approval of the users, we begin to receive daily an important number of users' incidents , because the tool stopped them to work when they were upgraded to Windows 10 on its computers.
We cannot wait until August to give answers to our customers.
Until is available the new driver versión, we would need to have some workaround , although in a temporary way, that allow us to solve the problema to our customers
we will thank your help
Sergio
Sentinal Protection Server Service cannot be started
We have a Intelec Network Keylock Type S.
Our customer is experiencing an issue that every week the Sentinal Protection Server Service can't be started with the error: "Services which are not in use automatically will be stopped".
Only a reboot will fix this issue.
We tried starting in mode: 0 but that gaves us error code 3
Starting in mode 9 gives error code 60.
The newest software is installed.
Does anybody know how to solve this issue?
Thanks!
Stefan

OS: Server 2008 SP2
SafeNet USB Superpro/UltraPro driver version 7.5.8.0
Intelec Software version: 5.4A-1
The Local System Account is already assigned to the service, but it won't start when the specified error popups. At this moment the service is running, but out of nowhere it could be stopped.

Hardlock and Virtualization
Re : Hardlock and Virtualization
Hoe you are doing good.
Thanks for raising the concern. Regarding your query, please be informed that Hardware Keys are not fully supported over VM.
Please refer to the below link for further clarification:
https://sentinel.gemalto.com/software-monetization/sentinel-hasp/
Though, there are a few third party alternatives we can try to use with HL licenses. Gemalto recommends USB dongle server myUTN-80 by SEH Technology for the same.
Also, we always recommend to use the latest range of products we have like Sentinel LDK (for better results).
Therefore, it would be great if you can get in touch with our Sales for better visibility of these products.
Please feel free to get back in case of any queries.
Thanks,
Heena
can't update to sentinel LDK runtime setup 7.6
Re : can't update to sentinel LDK runtime setup 7.6
Thanks for raising the concern.
It seems that there might be some conflict with the running hardlock service while upgrading the runtime drivers.
Please be advised to first uninstall completely and then try to install the latest drivers using below steps.
1- please use the below link to download the command line run-time drivers.
https://sentinelcustomer.gemalto.com/DownloadNotice.aspx?dID=8589947873
2- Save and extract the driver in a folder.
3- Open CMD prompt (in admin mode ) and navigate the driver location using CMD.
4- Run below commands sequentially
haspdinst -purge (to uninstall the previous drivers)
haspdinst -i (to install the new one)
Hopefully this should help to resolve the problem.
However, if the problem still persists then please write us at technical.support@gemalto.com for detailed investigation.

Parth Kaushik
